Day 2 - Sat - AMSTERDAM / KILIMANJARO
Arrive in Amsterdam in the morning and connect to your flight to Kilimanjaro. 'Jambo'! Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival, meet a Safaris Tour Director who will escort you to your hotel.

Day 3 - Sun - LAKE MANYARA
Safari briefing at breakfast time prepares you for an exciting adventure. Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, home to numerous birds, elephants, tree-climbing lions, hippos and buffaloes. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. In the evening relax with a sundowner in your peaceful surroundings. Dinner and overnight. (BLD)

Day 4 - Mon - NGORONGORO CRATER
You will have an early morning start to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, host to the "birthplace of man." It is also home to a unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive in time for lunch. Later visit a local Masai village. (BLD)

Day 5 - Tue - NGORONGORO CRATER
Enjoy breathtaking views of the crater as the sun rises, and descend 2000 feet below the rim for a full day of spectacular game viewing. The crater is home to abundant game, including the "Big Five," along with the black rhino, jackal and cape buffalo. Lunch is served picnic-style on the crater. (BLD)

Day 6 - Wed - SERENGETI
This morning drive to Olduvai Gorge the site of the discovery of the remains of prehistoric man by Dr. Leakey. Continue your drive to the world-famous Serengeti Game Reserve with lunch en-route, arriving at Serengeti Serena Lodge in the late afternoon. An afternoon game drive through this magnificent wildlife haven is followed by a bush barbecue dinner (weather permitting) and overnight at the lodge. (BLD)

Day 7 - Thu - WESTERN SERENGETI
You have an opportunity to enjoy an early morning balloon safari (extra cost) over the Serengeti plains, which includes a bubbly breakfast in the bush. Or you can take an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Depart by road to the luxurious Kirawira Tented Camp with a game drive en route. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing in your picturesque surroundings. The views from the camp are breathtaking and on a clear day Lake Victoria can be seen from the tented lounge. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight. (BLD)

Day 8 - Fri - WESTERN SERENGETI

Day 9 - Sat - KILIMANJARO / AMSTERDAM
After breakfast, transfer to Grumeti airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro, where you are met on arrival and transferred to the lodge. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Early dinner, transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to Amsterdam. (BLD)
